Week 6- I CARE

In this session, we extend our work on emotion and eating patterns by examining the ways we care for ourselves and others. We use the self-care questionnaire as a way of initiating discussion about how to care for ourselves in better ways. We also discuss the importance of setting boundaries in our roles as caregivers for others.
Discuss the distraction strategies handout, and the distress tolerance handout.
1. To study the ways we currently care for ourselves, and to develop a better self-care plan.
2. To explore the ways that caregiver stress affects eating patterns.
3. To learn to set better boundaries, and deepen our self-compassion
