Elizabeth Gray (Mi’kmaw) was born in New Brunswick, has lived on Aanishnaabeg traditional territory for most of her life and has been an active member of the Hamilton Urban Aboriginal Community for about 30 years. She holds a BA from McMaster and MSW from Laurier. Elizabeth has worked in education, social work and publishing. Her firm Gray & Associates has offered advising, speaking and consulting services with a variety of non-profit organizations and post-secondary institutions. Elizabeth works as the Indigenous Counsellor at Mohawk College and has volunteered on numerous local boards and committees related to health, housing and education. She is committed to supporting community wellbeing and endeavours to live Mino-Bimaadiziwin (the Good Life) through teachings, culture, ceremonies and healing.
