Exploring Yoga in Recovery
In this workshop, you will challenge some of your ideas about yoga and exercise and learn new ways to incorporate movement, and your body, into your recovery and your life, in a supportive manner.
This is a collaborative workshop that is open to anyone, regardless of perceived ability, who wants to explore movement as part of their recovery process.
This workshop is created and led by Kristen Wilson, a registered yoga teacher. Kristen is also eating disorder-recovered and understands the challenges of physical movement when approached through the lens of an eating disorder. She uses basic yoga principles and teachings to support her own recovery and enjoys supporting others by sharing what she has learned through her own practice and experience.
Location: Body Brave, 1047 Main Street East (Parking is available on the street directly in front of the building)
Cost: Free of charge, donations are always welcome. As a non-profit, we rely on your generosity to keep our doors open.
Yoga mats, blocks and props are available at Body Brave.
Registration is required. Limited spaces available.
