This 4-week online educational workshop series is focused on developing your nutrition knowledge from a non-diet, weight-inclusive lens. Each week we will dive into a different nutrition topic such as understanding macronutrients (protein, carbohydrates, and fat), the anatomy and physiology of digestion and metabolism, an introduction to weight science, and debunking some common nutrition myths. Throughout this series we will be revisiting the idea of building a healthy relationship to food, and how to integrate your new-found nutrition knowledge in your life. This group is open to anyone, but is not a substitute for individualized 1:1 nutrition counselling.

*Content warning* for those who are easily triggered by discussing nutrition in detail (ie: some use of numbers for teaching purposes), however all material is designed with these sensitivities in mind.

Where: Online, through the Ontario Telemedicine Network’s secure online video conferencing system (a link will be sent to you by email one week before the group starts. All instructions will be included).

When: Tuesdays, May 14-June 18, 1-2:15pm

Cost: Free of charge, donations are welcome. We rely on your generosity to keep our doors open.

Initial meeting is not required for this group.
