This program is focused on skill-building and insight development for individuals struggling with overeating and binge eating. This is not a substitute for outpatient or inpatient treatment. 

The program will guide participants through sessions addressing thoughts, emotions and behaviours, distress tolerance,  interpersonal skills, as well as goal setting and building a happier life.

The program is limited to 10-12 participants to keep groups intimate and to maximize individual attention. 

This group is facilitated by family physician and psychotherapist Dr. Karen Trollope-Kumar and Clinical Nurse Specialist Patti Perry.

Our perception of our body is one of the most personal relationships we have with ourselves and yet it can often feel the most tumultuous and overwhelming. This group will work to provide you with education and practical strategies for how you can heal the internal struggle of your body image.

We invite you to join us in taking the journey towards changing your mindset, cultivating self-acceptance, and gaining empowerment! Patience, self-compassion, and non-judgment will be essential tools for your journey.

Our perception of our body is one of the most personal relationships we have with ourselves and yet it can often feel the most tumultuous and overwhelming. This group will work to provide you with education and practical strategies for how you can heal the internal struggle of your body image.

We invite you to join us in taking the journey towards changing your mindset, cultivating self-acceptance, and gaining empowerment! Patience, self-compassion, and non-judgment will be essential tools for your journey.
